Battery 259
The Battery 259 is a UN38.3 conformant battery pack for subsea usage. It’s output voltage range can power most common underwater devices which run on nominal 24v systems. For more information, please see the Battery 259 6000 datasheet.
Precautions
Charge the battery pack fully before using it.
Test the output of the battery. It should read at, or close to, its nominal voltage (29.4 V). (On the Subconn 3-pin connector, pin 1 is GND, pin 2 is LOAD POSITIVE, pin 3 is CHARGE POSITIVE).
Refer to the precautions, storage, and transportation page of the manual before battery operation.
Discharge on deck to ensure correct runtime and operation of equipment. Proceed to connect the load. Do not discharge the battery pack past its minimum voltage.
If you don't use the battery often, charge the battery once every 2 months to maintain the battery's capacity.
Important: When using the battery with a camera and interface box, always disconnect AC power from the interface box before connecting the battery.
Led display
The charger will cut off automatically if the battery is fully charged (1/10c) and indicated by LED.
In Charging - Red LED
Battery Full - Green LED
