Network Requirements
Network Ports
The DVR+O / SCI software utilizes connections on the ports listed below.
Ask your IT Network team to open the following network ports to enable these Services.
If you have a Firewall / Windows Firewall enabled, ensure the DVR+O / SCI application is permitted on Public / Private Networks.
Service | Port # | Description |
SubC Inspector API | 13000 | Main control port for sending and receiving commands from the DVR+O / SCI client to Inspector Desktop client. |
SubC Inspector Installer | 13001, 80 | Note: Ensure Port 80 is open with non-tls/ssl enabled |
Remote Control API | 8088 | Remote API port for controlling the DVR+O / SCI. Please refer to the API Commands section for more information. |
Rayfin Data | 8886 | Allow SubC Rayfin camera data to be available to the DVR+O / SCI. |
Video Streaming | 9989-9995 | Incoming/Outgoing ports for video streams. DVR+O / SCI is capable of streaming its video Channels when you also subscribe to the SubC Streaming Service. Please refer to the SubC Streaming Service Web User Manual for details on SubC Streaming Services' network ports requirements. |
If you encounter any issues connecting the DVR+O / SCI to these ports (potentially due to these ports being disabled or already used by other programs/services) please confirm with your IT Network Administration team before contacting support@subccontrol.com.
