Auxiliary Ports
There are two Aux ports on the Rayfin that can be configured for multiple types of devices. The Aux ports in the software match up with the bulkheads on the endcap, and the Aux# is engraved on the endcap.
Aquorea Mk3 - LED Strobe and Lamp - Control a SubC LED for Lamp and Strobe. Pin 3: TTL is for strobe and Pins 4&5 are RS-485 for lamp control. Able to drive multiple LEDs over RS-485 multi-drop.
TTL Laser - Control a MantaRay or Skate laser. TTL from the Rayfin is 5v. Shows the laser safety icon.
TTL Laser + NMEA Sensor - Configure the port to control a TTL laser on Pin 3 and Pins 4&5 are configured for RS-485 NMEA sensor input. Has a selectable baud rate. Shows the laser safety icon. See more about this in the section NMEA Data Logging.
NMEA Sensor - Configures Pins 4&5 for RS-485 NMEA sensor input. Has a selectable baud rate. NMEA output devices can be connected to the Aux ports and the Rayfin will log NMEA formatted data. See more about this in the section NMEA Data Logging.
Serial Controller - This enables the camera to be controlled via RS-485. Has a selectable baud rate. See more info in Serial Communication
