Description | Mitigation / Limitations |
Continuous stills are currently limited to 2Hz maximum rate. | This is not a hardware limitation. If higher frequency digital stills are required for your application, it may be possible for SubC to increase the stills frequency. |
Recording will occasionally stop. 4K video can stop after 2+ hours. SD video can stop after days of continuous recording. | There is a script on the camera to continuously record if need be. This issue will be resolved with an upcoming software update. |
Path and filename length: If the combined character amount of the folder path and filename are greater than 254 characters, then image thumbnail preview may not work correctly. | Reduce the length of your folder path or file names. |
Occasionally on first connection to a Rayfin during a fresh install or user session, it is possible that there will be no communication from the Rayfin software to the camera. | It can take up to 30 seconds after power on for the camera to be fully functional, even when appearing in RCS. If it is not resolved after 30 seconds, disconnect and reconnect to the camera again. |
AE flashing in bright scenes or at high ISO settings. Can happen at the beginning of a new video clip, or intermittently depending on lighting settings. | Adjust the Exposure value or change to Manual exposure and the issue will stop. This will be resolved in a future software update. |
AutoFocus occasionally does not find the optimal focus position. | Switch from AF to MF to AF. This will be improved in a future software update. |
Green images | On rare occasions when images are being captured in Continuous mode, a green image may get produced. Soft reboot the camera or cycle power and the issue will be resolved. |
