Time & Locale Settings
Configure Date / Time
Clock Mode: Auto will connect the camera to an NTP server. The server can be online, or local on the network
The NTP Clock Drift is in milliseconds. The user is able to set the Drift Threshold (in ms) by moving the slider. Every 20 seconds, the camera checks if the drift is outside the threshold (positive or negative). If the drift is greater than the threshold, it resyncs with the server.
If using a local NTP server on your network, enter it’s IP
Popular online NTP servers are: time.windows.com, europe.pool.ntp.org, http://time.google.com
Assigning a new NTP server can take up to 30 seconds to update
Clock Mode: Manual will use the camera’s internal clock for time.
Click Sync to PC time to set the Rayfin to use the current timezone, date and time used by the Windows PC that Rayfin Control Software is running on.
Configure Time Zone
Time Zone: Auto uses the time zone assigned by the NTP server OR by the Windows PC, based on the Clock Mode selected.
Time Zone: Manual allows the selection from the list of standard time zones.
