Installing Rayfin Control Software

All software and manuals are supplied on the USB drive that was shipped with your camera. If you lose the USB drive, please contact support@subcimaging.com.

• Click Mk1 Download for the Rayfin RCS Mk1 Software

We recommend that if your camera is set to Static IP, set it to DHCP to apply the update. For more on Static IP, see the following section: Ethernet Connection | Static IP

1. Open the Rayfin Control Software (RCS) installer from the USB drive or Downloads folder and follow the steps to install.

2. After clicking finish, Rayfin Control Software will start. 

3. As of Rayfin Software v3.1, when you connect to a camera, the software will prompt you to update the camera if necessary. 

Manual ROM or Firmware Update

New cameras will have the latest ROM and firmware on delivery.

Firmware updates are only necessary if you get a notification via email from SubC Imaging. 

1. Open Windows Explorer to C:\SubC Rayfin Control\

2. To update ROM: Double-click “UpdateROM.bat”

3. To update Firmware: Double-click “UpdateFirmware.bat”

4. Enter the Index number that matches your Rayfin (eg. 1 = Rayfin001) and follow any on-screen instructions. Or you can enter 4 to manually type in the IP address of the Rayfin to be updated
