Rayfin Camera Date stuck on 01/01/1970

Issue

If a Rayfin camera has been power off for an extended period of time, the CMOS battery may become depleted causing the Rayfin Camera’s date revert back to 01/01/1970.

Mitigation

If this happens, with the Rayfin connected to the SubC DVR+O / SCI or RCS application Channel, check the Menu → Time & Local to ensure you have the desired settings for Time Zone and Date / Time and NTP Server, then power cycle the Rayfin camera to set it to the current Date and Time.
