When to Upgrade SubC Software - Best Practice
We recommend that you install the latest released SubC software upgrades as soon as possible, however, it is not recommended to do so if you are currently using a previous version on an active project*.
It is best practice to first install software upgrades on a test system &/or on your production systems after your current Project is completed / before your next Project begins.
*If the new SubC Software version has new feature(s) or fixes that you require, install it on a test system to confirm before installing on your active project system(s).
To avoid potential issues during the software upgrade download & installation process, it is best to use a strong cable or LAN network connection instead of VSAT or 4/5G networks.
After successfully installing the new software, please perform thorough testing to ensure proper functionality.
