Data Input / Transmit to Cloud
Click the SubC Data Routing icon
You will be prompted to Sign in with your SubC Stream Account (Use your email address that you’ve registered for SubC Streaming Services)..
Data Routing will open starting with the Data Input / Transmission to Cloud UI
This interface allows you to collect data from a PC/System on your LAN and transmit it over the SubC Streaming Service.
Data Input
Data can be taking in over two types of communicators: UDP or Serial
In this example we have sample data sending over UDP on port 6677
Enter the port number to connect to your data generating source.
Click Open to connect to the data source and you will see the data flowing
Transmit to Cloud
Groups - Select your Streaming Service Group from this dropdown menu field (i.e., “SubC Development” Group is selected)
Presentations - Select one of the Group's Presentations. (i.e., “Stream Presentation”)
Click Start Transmitting - to start transmitting the data to the Cloud via the Presentation.
Groups and Presentations are features in SubC Streaming Service. In this standalone scenario of Data Routing, you do not need to configure a Stream Channel with Input, we are just utilizing Group & Presentation as a vehicle through which to route data to the Cloud.
