Network Requirements

Network Ports

SubC software utilizes connections on the ports listed below.

Ask your IT Network team to open the following network ports to enable these Services.

If you have a Firewall / Windows Firewall enabled, ensure the SubC Software application is permitted on Public / Private Networks.

Remote Control API

Remote API port for controlling the DVR+ / SCI. Please refer to the API Commands section for more information.

Video Cloud Streaming

Incoming/Outgoing ports for video streams.

DVR+ / SCI is capable of streaming its video Channels when you also subscribe to the SubC Streaming Service. Please refer to the SubC Streaming Service Web User Manual for details on SubC Streaming Services' network ports requirements.

Rayfin Data

Allow SubC Rayfin camera data to be available to the DVR+ / SCI.

Rayfin ROM Updates

Required to download Rayfin ROM updates through the DVR+ / SCI UI

Rayfin Auto Detection

Required for ONVIF protocol used by DVR+ / SCI UI to detect Rayfin cameras connected to the Network
