Datasheets - Rayfin Uplink (Ethernet over Twisted Pair or Coax)

Created for upgrading systems to enable Rayfin features such as HD, 4K and digital stills. The Rayfin Uplink delivers reliable and exceptional image quality for precise inspections and surveys, or for Autonomous systems running on battery power. This provides a live data feed to the surface over up to 800m of twisted pair or coax. Further technical specifications such as bulkhead pinouts and electrical details, are on the sub-pages below.

• Uplink SUBC55-UPLINK-MCBH4 - Standard stock 500m rated unit with small form factor. MCBH4 bulkhead for 24V nominal power and Ethernet over twisted pair or coax

• Uplink SUBC39-UPLINK-MCBH4-6K-TI - Special 6000m build with a MCBH4 bulkhead for 24V nominal power and Ethernet over twisted pair or coax.

• ETP Block SUBC39-ETP - Topside box for conversion of ETP signals to 100 Mbit Ethernet

Uplink Example Diagram A: This simple setup allows the sending of HD, 4K, and digital stills data over a twisted pair or coax on a legacy ROV system. There are options for LEDs, Lasers and the Rugged DVR+O to create a full end-to-end inspection system.

Uplink Example Diagram B: This setup has the camera connected to the surface with a twisted pair cable, but powered from the subsea battery. Autonomous functionality is triggered based on the distance to seafloor from the attached altimeter.
